I had option to be on several teambuildings. Last one (from yesterday) was based in Palo Alto (SiliconVale). I have to say it was little bit different I had experienced in europe 🙂
This time one of the main points was to be flexible, always open for new things be rather positive thinking 🙂 Nothing new for contractors 🙂 but good for old fashioned employees.
It is quite hard to find out how to have Landscape and Portrait size in one document, specially let say you want to have page 5 and 8 in Landscape and the rest in Portrait.
The solution is to create style which will do formating. There is one more option and it is “next style” so either keep it as default and next page will be back in Portrait (that is default style) or have next style in Landscape and the whole document will be in landscape.
To change just one page you have to do right click
- Click into the first paragraph where you want to change the page orientation.
- Choose Format – Paragraph.
- Click theText Flow tab.
- Under Breaks, enable Insert. Then enable With Page Style. Select a page style that uses the landscape or portrait page orientation.
To change the orientation of the current page only, select a page style where the Next Style option is set to “Default”.
To change the orientation of the current and subsequent pages, select a page style where the Next Style option is set to the name of the page style.
If you want to change the page orientation later on in the document, repeat these steps for the first paragraph on the page.
- Click OK.
